We the members of the Maud McLeod High School, strive through mutual co-operation with the home and society to educate and nurture young people, preparing them for responsible citizenship. We aim to provide an opportunity and an appropriate environment for the necessary skill development, which will move each student towards the experience of personal excellence.

To provide a system which secures quality education for all persons in Jamaica and achieves effective integration of educational and cultural resources in order to optimize individual and national development.

In addition, the school promotes a positive teaching and learning culture, provides an effective instructional programme, and applies best practices to student learning.
At Maud McLeod High, we base our development on a clear master plan, which allows us to provide our students with an advanced education. A few of the school programmes are beset by financial constraints, but we make use of our limited resources to be the "Beacon of Excellence".
